Dominique is Head of the Department of Hepato-Gastroenterology and serves as Medical Director at the Pitié-Salpêtière Hospital AP-HP, Sorbonne Université. Her research interests include end-stage liver disease, hepatic encephalopathy, portal hypertension and hepatocellular carcinoma. She works to improve management of patients with end-stage liverdisease including curative and preventive therapies, access to liver transplantation, and quality of life of patients and next to kins.

“When I started my fellowship in an academic center, in the liver intensive care unit, I realized of the huge improvements made by my mentors, but also of the long way still to go to ensure that patients with chronic liver disase are cured. I decided I wanted not to be passive, but to be an actor of this wonderful adventure”, says Dominique.
