“As a child, I was fascinated to know how things worked. Later, as a doctor, this interest moved to investigate disease and healing mechanisms, which is essential to advance towards better patient care and treatment”, says Rosa.

She carries out clinical and translational research on alchol-related liver disease, metabolic-associated fatty liver disease, and acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) with a strong interest in liver transplantation.

Rosa is Governing Board member of the Asociación Española para el Estudio del Hígado (AEEH) and has recently been appointed member of the Inspiring and Writing Group at EF CLIF.
