A donation from Fundació Privada Cellex helps kick start the PREDICT study

Fundació Privada Cellex will support Dr. Jonel Trebicka to stay in Barcelona as EF CLIF Research Fellow for a period of two years.

Dr. Jonel Trebicka will serve as Principal Investigator of the PREDICT study, sponsored by EF CLIF. PREDICT will be instrumental to uncover the pathophysiological mechanisms associated with the development and clinical course of ACLF and to identify the precipitating events of this syndrome.

The kick-off of the PREDICT study is planned for early 2017. More than 40 centres of the EASL-CLIF Consortium across Europe will participate in this study, which aims to recruit about 1200 patients with cirrhosis.
