After the annual meeting of the EASL-CLIF Consortium Steering Committee, EF CLIF announced the election of two new centers to join the EASL-CLIF Consortium in supporting targeted research and collaborative initiatives with the aim to advance knowledge of liver disease and improve the quality of life of patients with cirrhosis. Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra, Portugal, and Hospital Universitario Marqués de Valdecillas, Spain, both received this designation based on clinical and research excellence. Dr. João Maddaleno and Dr. José Ignacio Fortea were nominated coordinators for each center, respectively.
