During his four-day stay in Barcelona, Dr. Alberto Farias and our team worked together to coordinate efforts before the start of patient recruitment.

At the working sessions, we focused on organizational aspects and ethics requirements. We covered key issues previously discussed at the ACLARA kick-off meeting, paying special attention to the needs of both investigators and their institutions and EF CLIF. The emphasis was on strengthening the relationship between the EF CLIF Data Management Center in Barcelona and the ACLARA Project Office in São Paulo, in order to provide the best support to all participating centers across Latin American.
